27-Inch QHD Tandem WOLED Display

The ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQWP-G features a 27 -inch class Tandem WOLED panel with a 2560 × 1440 QHD resolution.

The QHD resolution provides an excellent balance between image detail and high-refresh gaming performance. Compared with 4K gaming monitors, QHD requires less GPU power while still providing sharp visuals and excellent pixel density.

The 0.229mm pixel pitch and high-quality OLED panel provide crisp details across games, videos, graphics and desktop applications.

The 16:9 aspect ratio is ideal for competitive PC gaming and provides broad compatibility with modern games and gaming platforms.

540Hz Refresh Rate for Competitive Gaming

The standout gaming feature of the PG27AQWP-G is its 540Hz refresh rate.

A 540Hz display can provide exceptionally fluid motion when the gaming system can generate sufficiently high frame rates. This is particularly valuable for competitive FPS and esports titles where rapid target tracking and fast reactions are critical.

The high refresh rate helps deliver:

• Smoother camera movement
• More fluid target tracking
• Reduced perceived motion blur
• Faster visual feedback
• Highly responsive competitive gameplay

For esports players, the combination of QHD resolution and 540Hz refresh rate provides a powerful balance between image quality and competitive speed.

Dual Mode with Up to 720Hz

The PG27AQWP-G also features an advanced Dual Mode.

Users can switch between:

• QHD 2560 × 1440 at 540Hz
• HD at up to 720Hz

The 720Hz mode is designed for gamers who prioritise maximum refresh rate and competitive responsiveness over resolution.

This makes the monitor particularly versatile for esports players who may use different display configurations depending on the game.

Ultra-Fast 0.02ms GTG Response Time

With a rated 0.02ms GTG response time, the Tandem WOLED panel provides extremely fast pixel transitions.

OLED technology enables rapid pixel response, helping minimise visible ghosting and motion artefacts during fast gameplay.

Combined with the 540Hz refresh rate, the 0.02ms response time makes the PG27AQWP-G especially suitable for:

• Competitive FPS
• Esports
• Tactical shooters
• Battle royale
• Racing games
• Fast-action gaming

Tandem WOLED Technology

The PG27AQWP-G monitor uses advanced Tandem WOLED technology, designed to deliver improved brightness and colour performance compared with conventional OLED architectures.

The Tandem OLED structure helps increase brightness and colour volume while maintaining the deep blacks associated with OLED technology.

ASUS specifies up to 15% higher brightness and 25% larger colour volume compared with the previous-generation WOLED technology, according to the supplied product specifications.

This provides a more vibrant and visually engaging experience across HDR games, movies and other compatible content.

DisplayHDR 500 True Black & 1500 Nits HDR

The PG27AQWP-G is VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certified.

OLED technology allows individual pixels to switch off completely, producing extremely deep blacks and a very high contrast ratio.

The monitor provides:

• Up to 1500 nits HDR peak brightness
• DisplayHDR 500 True Black
• 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio
• HDR10 support

Bright highlights can appear more intense while dark scenes retain deep, detailed blacks.

True 10-Bit Colour & 99.5% DCI-P3

The PG27AQWP-G delivers professional-level colour performance alongside its gaming capabilities.

The display supports:

• True 10-bit colour
• 99.5% DCI-P3
• 135% sRGB
• Delta E <2

The wide colour gamut and accurate colour reproduction make the monitor suitable for gaming as well as content creation, photography, video editing and other colour-sensitive applications.

Glossy TrueBlack Display

The display features a TrueBlack Glossy surface with a zero-haze optical layer.

This glossy OLED surface is designed to preserve the deep blacks and high perceived contrast associated with OLED technology.

ASUS also includes an advanced anti-reflective layer designed to reduce ambient reflections by approximately 38% compared with previous-generation glossy WOLED displays, according to the supplied specifications.

AMD FreeSync Premium Pro & G-SYNC Compatible

The monitor supports multiple adaptive-sync technologies for smooth gameplay.

These include:

• AMD FreeSync Premium Pro
• NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible
• VESA AdaptiveSync Display 540Hz

These technologies help reduce:

• Screen tearing
• Stuttering
• Uneven frame delivery

Combined with the extremely high refresh rate, they provide a smoother gaming experience across compatible systems.

OLED Anti-Flicker Technology

The ASUS PG27AQWP-G includes OLED Anti-Flicker technology with selectable High, Mid and Off settings.

This technology is designed to minimise distracting flicker during variable-refresh-rate gaming scenarios.

Users can choose the appropriate setting according to their gaming preferences and environment.

ASUS OLED Care Pro & Neo Proximity Sensor

ASUS equips the monitor with OLED Care Pro technologies designed to help maintain long-term OLED panel performance.

The monitor also includes a Neo Proximity Sensor that can detect the user’s presence.

OLED Care Pro features help manage the panel and reduce the risk of image retention during extended use.

The monitor also uses a custom heatsink and internal airflow design to manage heat without compromising the slim OLED form factor.
